Study programme Environmental Chemistry and Remediation Technologies is a part of the study field 4.1.14Chemistry.
It focuses on the research area of transport and transformation of metal contaminants and radio-contaminants, including their biosorption and bioaccumulation.
The priority areas include research activities, development of analytical and radio-analytical methods for determination of metals and their chemical forms in soil and water. The Department aims its research also to the development of technologies for efficient use of solar energy. All these areas are directly related to the active and effective environmental protection. The main criterion for professional orientation of the Department is an effort to increase assertion of graduates in the labour market.
