Successful graduates

Our graduates are great examples of successful application and expertise in their fields biology, biotechnology, chemistry or computer science in Slovakia and abroad. During their studies at the faculty, they acquired not only solid foundations of theoretical knowledge, but also practical experience, which they effectively apply in practice today. Thanks to an approach oriented towards real projects and research, they have acquired skills that enable them to solve complex challenges in their fields.

Today, many of our graduates are recognized experts in their field and like to share their knowledge and experience with the next generations. Their involvement contributes to the continuous improvement of the quality of education, enriches the teaching process and brings current students inspiration and motivation for their own research and career growth.

We are proud of their achievements and that they have become an important part of the academic and professional community that supports innovative solutions and sustainable development for the benefit of the whole society.

Chemistry student Romana Mičová  develops molecules that can be carriers of information

In her research, Dr. Romana Mičová focuses on single-ion magnets and tries to find slow magnetic relaxation in them. What it means, how research results can be used in practice or where chemistry graduates can find employment, she told us in an interview.

Computer science student Peter Hafner developed a piano pedal for people with limb disabilities

In addition, it has other successful products in the app store. You will find out in the interview how he comes up with ideas, what he enjoys most about development and how he evaluates the study of applied informatics from the position of a fifth grader.

Our graduates are among the young professors in Slovakia

UCM is one of the young universities in Slovakia, yet it has educated FPV UCM graduates who are professors appointed by the President of the Slovak Republic such as prof. RNDr. Martin Pipiška, PhD. (graduate of SP chemistry with a focus on biotechnology) currently working at TRUNI), also prof. RNDr. Miroslav Ondrejovič, PhD. (graduate of Faculty of Chemistry with a focus on biotechnology) or prof. RNDr. Ján Titiš, PhD. (graduate of Faculty of Chemistry), both working at FPV UCM in the position of persons responsible for study programs.

You can read the interview with Professor Titiš here.
