Haluškovanie 2024
On May 2, the Haluškovanie event took place in Špačince. This traditional event has long been a fixture on the Faculty of Natural Sciences’ calendar of events. Teams composed of students and staff competed for the title of halušky cooking champion.
Each team sought to showcase their culinary skills and present original and unique family recipes based on secret methods and ingredients.
The jury, composed of experienced tasters and experts in Slovak cuisine, paid close attention to each sample. They evaluated them based on taste, texture, and presentation.
After a thorough evaluation, the jury selected the winning teams, who were recognized for their excellent halušky. These winners took home the proud titles of halušky cooking champions as well as interesting prizes. The event was a successful social and culinary experience that highlighted a sense of community within the university.
