Cybersecurity and NIST2 in practice

On 23 April, the Faculty of Natural Sciences hosted an expert lecture on Cybersecurity, NIST2, which attracted those interested in this topical and dynamically developing field.

The lecture was accompanied by Ing. Milan Antalík from the company U-system, who has long been dealing with the issue of IT security and data protection. He introduced the participants to the basic principles of the NIST2 (National Institute of Standards and Technology) framework, pointed out key changes in legislation and provided practical recommendations for securing information systems.

The discussion was lively and brought a lot of questions from practice - from the implementation of security measures to specific technical solutions.

From the lecture, participants took away not only new knowledge, but also inspiration on how to responsibly approach the protection of the digital environment.
