Evaluation of a questionnaire survey on employer satisfaction with graduates of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at UCM
Between September 16 and 25, 2025, employers evaluated the quality of study programs, focusing on feedback on the preparedness of graduates of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at UCM for practice and their employability in the labor market. The questionnaire was prepared and distributed by the UCM Quality Department.
Twenty-five employers were involved in the survey, with one completed questionnaire returned. Despite the low participation, the evaluation provided positive feedback – employers highlighted the expertise, reliability, and practical preparedness of graduates of the Applied Informatics study program. This assessment confirms that graduates of the UCM Faculty of Natural Sciences are well prepared for practice and can succeed in the workplace.
The results of this survey also show the need to increase the return rate of questionnaires in the future and to ensure that surveys are conducted more effectively in order to obtain broader and more representative data from employers. The proposed measures therefore recommend considering conducting surveys at the faculty level, where they have so far been carried out with higher participation and practical benefits for the evaluation of the quality of study programs.
We would like to thank the employers who participated in the survey and devoted their time to evaluating our graduates. Every piece of feedback is important to us and helps us improve the quality of education and better connect the academic environment with the needs of practice.
