Excursion to Zeleneč WWTP

On 4 April 2025, students of the Bachelor's study programme Environmental Protection and Restoration, as part of the courses Hydrology and Water Protection and Environmental Engineering , took part in an excursion to the technological operation of the wastewater treatment plant in Zelenč, operated by the company Tavos a.s. During the excursion, the students were given a professional explanation of the technology and processes involved in the physical, physico-chemical and biological treatment of municipal water and the subsequent steps involved in sludge management.
