FPV UCM Open Day: Discover your future already on February 6, 2026

 

The Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava invites all high school students, their teachers, and parents to an Open Day, which will take place on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The event is primarily intended for high school seniors and students who are considering studying natural sciences, computer science, or modern technologies and want to get a realistic picture of what university life is like.

Where to Find Us

The Open Day will take place at several of the faculty’s locations:

• Nám. J. Herdu 2 – Department of Biology and Biotechnology, Department of Chemistry and Environmental Sciences

• Hlavná 5, Trnava – Department of Computer Technologies and Informatics

Visitors will thus have the opportunity to learn about various fields such as biology, biotechnology, chemistry, environmental protection and restoration, or computer science

What Awaits Visitors

A varied program has been prepared for participants, offering them a glimpse into student life and the academic experience itself:

• interactive and hands-on demonstrations from various fields of study,

• meetings with faculty and current students,

• information about degree programs, the admissions process, and career opportunities for graduates.

The goal of the event is to provide visitors with an authentic experience and help them navigate their decisions regarding further education.
