Invitation to the event Science in the CenTTer

 

As part of Science and Technology Week, we invite all science enthusiasts to the Science at CenTTer event, which will take place on November 11 at the Leháro café at 6:00 p.m. The speaker will be an interesting guest, Kristína from Senica, who reached the finals of the prestigious GENIUS Olympiad 2025 competition with her project "Frog Taxi" and impressed scientists not only in America with her idea.

This activity is part of preventive measures to reduce the mortality of amphibians caused by road traffic. Manually carrying frogs has proven to be an effective way to protect these species, the most common of which are the common toad and the brown frog. This approach not only reduces mortality but also supports continuous migration, which is essential to the amphibian life cycle.
