Dear colleagues, students and supporters of environmental sciences,
We cordially invite you to the introductory online webinar of the project "Strengthening eco-skills through transboundary cooperation between V4 and Ukraine".
The project focuses on building eco-skills and sustainable awareness through cooperation between Slovakia, Poland and Ukraine. Participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, discuss regional environmental challenges and develop practical eco-skills. The project is funded by the governments of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through a grant from the International Visegrad Fund, which supports sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
The webinar includes:
- Introduction and project introduction
- Presentations by representatives of partner universities from Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine on current environmental challenges in their countries
- Presentation of faculty representatives and their research activities in the field of environmental studies
- Discussion and exchange of best practices for eco-skills development and environmental problem solving
The webinar is aimed at academics, students, environmental organizations, NGOs and all those who care about conservation. Teachers and students in chemistry and environmental sciences will gain valuable insights into regional environmental problems and solutions, as well as contacts to colleagues abroad.
