On May 30, 2026, a professional training for computer science students from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the UCM in Trnava, focused on the field of corporate architecture and the ArchiMate modeling language, was held in the premises of SmartLab UCM & Trnava.
During the training, students had the opportunity to work with the professional tool ADOIT, which represents a modern solution for modeling, analysis and management of enterprise architecture. Students became familiar with the principles of modeling the enterprise, application and technological layers of the organization and their interrelationships in the context of the digital transformation of enterprises.
The goal of the training was to connect academic education with real practice and to enable students to gain experience with methodologies and tools used in the design and development of information systems in organizations. Such activities at the University of St. We see Cyril and Method in Trnava as an important part of additional professional education that helps students develop practical competencies, better understand the requirements of practice and supports their further professional growth. We consider the connection of study with real practice to be one of the key factors that motivates students to continue their studies and build a career in informatics and related fields.
We greatly appreciate the long-term cooperation with BOC Group, which supports the education of our students in the areas of enterprise architecture through the ADOIT tool and process management through the ADONIS tool. Such partnerships bring students the opportunity to work with professional tools and acquire knowledge that has direct application in practice.
