University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava was welcomed on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 by Professor Ashraf H. Aljammal from The Hashemite University in Zarqa, Jordan. The visit was aimed at establishing professional cooperation and discussing the possibilities of signing an international agreement within the framework of the Erasmus program.

Prof. Aljammal works as a full professor at the Department of Computer Science and Applications at Hashemite University. In 2006, he received his B.S. in Computer Science from Albalqa' Applied University (Al-Salt, Jordan), completed his MA in 2007, and received his PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in Malaysia in 2011.

His research activities focus on: 

•  Network security a cyber security

• IoT security a network monitoring

• Cloud computing

• Machine learning a Data mining 

Visit of prof. Aljammala represents a significant step towards the expansion of UCM's international partnerships in the field of computer science and cyber security and opens up new possibilities for student and academic mobilities.
