Professional knowledge directly from practice

In recent days, two professional lectures were held at the Institute of Computer Technologies and Informatics, which brought valuable knowledge from practice, namely in the areas of project management and cyber security.

Project management - necessity or futility

Ing. Michal Porubčan from Netropolis, s.r.o. presented modern project management approaches. He focused on frequent mistakes that many project managers make and on specific examples from Slovak practice. The discussion highlighted how important it is to be aware of the latest practices in order to implement projects efficiently and successfully.

Cyber ​​and managed security in practice

The second lecture was held in collaboration with U-system Bratislava and featured presentations by cybersecurity experts:

  • Milan Antalík explained regulations, the NIST framework, the maturity model, and Decree No. 227, focusing on current trends,
  • Ing. Peter Činák, PhD., spoke about cybersecurity management and risks, providing practical advice and tools that organizations can use to improve their security.
