Saneca excursion

On April 11, 2025, students of Bachelor's degree programs in Chemistry and Applied Analytical Chemistry, together with the pedagogical accompaniment of Assoc. Ing. Andrea Purdesova, PhD. and doc. Ing. Jozef Sokol, CSc., took part in an excursion in the pharmaceutical company Saneca Pharmaceuticals a. s. Hlohovec, which is engaged in the production of finished dosage forms and active pharmaceutical ingredients.

During the excursion, the students were given an introductory briefing on the history of the pharmaceutical company and an expert lecture on the production, the workload of individual departments and plans for the future. Subsequently, the students visited the tablet plant and the primary and secondary packaging department in the pharmaceutical production, and also visited the quality control laboratories.
