Dňa 25. júna 2026 sa v priestoroch SmartLab UCM & Trnava na Hlavnej 5 v Trnave uskutočnil odborný workshop zameraný na aktuálne trendy v oblasti umelej inteligencie, digitálnych technológií a ich praktického využitia vo vzdelávaní, verejnej správe a podnikateľskom prostredí.
The event attracted students, teachers, experts from practice, representatives of public administration and the business sector. The meeting took place in a constructive and inspiring atmosphere, offering a space for professional discussion, exchange of experiences and establishing new contacts between participants from different fields.
The introduction of the workshop included the welcome of the guests, which was taken care of by the dean of FPV doc. Ondrejovič Chmelová and Dr. Boršoš for UCM and Mr. Drobný for the city of Trnava. In their speeches, they emphasized the importance of cooperation between the academic environment, self-government and professional practice in supporting innovation and digital transformation.


In the next part of the program, Mgr. Jelemensky project and outputs from meetings in individual districts in the area of the innovation platform. His speech was followed up by SEAK, represented by Mr. Macko, with a presentation of current smart lighting technologies and their possibilities of use in modern practice.

In his presentation, Boršoš addressed the topic of process management in public administration and pointed out the importance of effective management mechanisms in the conditions of digital transformation. Mr. Drobný then presented the preparation for the implementation of a digital twin in the city of Trnava, thereby opening an important discussion about the use of innovative digital solutions at the level of self-government.
The end of the event belonged to a joint discussion and networking of all participants. It was the informal exchange of experiences, questions from the audience and the networking of participants from different sectors that confirmed that similar professional meetings are of great importance for the development of cooperation, innovation and sharing of good practice.


We thank the organizers, partners, lecturers and all participants for their active participation and stimulating contributions that contributed to the high professional level of the workshop. We are already looking forward to following up this successful activity with another event in the fall of 2026, this time also with the presentation of concrete implemented projects and practical solutions.
Participation in the event was carried out with the aim of promoting the study of informatics and increasing interest in the study field of Informatics, which is included among the shortage fields supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Science of the Slovak Republic.
