Student scientific conference at the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology STU - Chemistry and Technologies for Life 2025

Students of our faculty took part in the Student Scientific Conference at the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology of STU called Chemistry and Technology for Life 2025, which took place on November 26 in Bratislava. On this occasion they achieved outstanding achievements:

🏅 The prize of the Research and Development Center and 1st place was won by Sofia Mikulášková with her work on the topic "Influence of cultivation conditions on the production of tropane alkaloids in root cultures of Datura stramonium L." in the Applied Biotechnologies section. Her trainer was RNDr. Šarlota Kaňuková, PhD.

🥉 3rd place in the Inorganic Chemistry section was taken by Bc. Jerguš Rosík with his work "Synthesis of mononuclear hexacoordinated Co(II) complexes using asymmetric acetylacetonates", under the guidance of supervisor doc. Cyril Rajnák, PhD.
