The Faculty of Natural Sciences of UCM has completed the evaluation of questionnaires focused on the quality of study programs, subjects and teaching in the academic year 2025/2026. The evaluation included all levels of study.
183 bachelor's and master's degree students and 20 doctoral students participated in the evaluation of study programs. The results confirmed a high level of satisfaction with studying at our faculty. 92% of respondents were satisfied with their choice of study program and almost 82% of students fulfilled their expectations related to their studies.
In all bachelor's and master's degree programmes, the satisfaction rate exceeded 70%, while in nine out of eleven programmes it was higher than 84%. One hundred percent satisfaction was achieved by the Environmental Protection and Restoration and Applied Chemistry programs.
Doctoral studies were also evaluated very positively. The satisfaction rate in doctoral programs ranged from 83.33% to 100%. The expectations associated with the study were fulfilled for 85% of doctoral students and 80% would choose the same study program again. As many as 90% of PhD students rated mentoring and guidance from supervisors as excellent.
The possibilities of communication with teachers, the scope of teaching, educational methods, the compliance of subjects with the graduate's profile, the availability of study literature and the linking of teaching with the scientific activities of teachers were also positively evaluated. The approach of the study department staff and the help of study coordinators also received a very good rating.
The results will be discussed at the Collegium of the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education of UCM and in the individual series of study programs. We will use the obtained suggestions in the further development of study programs, the expansion of practical teaching and the improvement of study conditions.
We thank all students who participated in the evaluation. Your feedback helps us maintain the strengths of the faculty and further improve the quality of education at FPV UCM.
