The UCM Disciplinary Committee for Students (hereinafter referred to as „DK“) is, in accordance with §7 par. 2 letters d) of the Act on Higher Education by the authorities of the academic self-government of the UCM. DK discusses the disciplinary offenses of UCM students who are enrolled to study at UCM. He submits a proposal for the imposition of disciplinary measures to the rector. DK has fourteen members, of which seven members are from the staff part of the UCM academic community and seven members are from the student part of the UCM academic community. Each UCM faculty/UCM institute is represented in both parts of the DK UCM. The chairman of the DK is the vice-rector for education of the UCM.
