ISIC (International Student Identity Card) is an internationally recognised card that certifies your student status. It is issued in about 130 countries around the world. Card holders can apply for various discounts and benefits at partner companies and organisations - especially when travelling. ISIC is also used for authentication when using certain services at the university.

Every full-time student receives an ISIC card. You do not need to apply for it. It is produced automatically from the details you enter on the return form we send you with your university admission notification. Part-time students are entitled to a special card.

First year students can collect their ISIC during September from 8.00 to 14.00 in room S 0.6 on the ground floor of the UCM building on Jozef Herda Square.

The card is valid for 1 year, after which it must be renewed by purchasing a prolongation stamp. Instructions on how to proceed with the prolongation.
